Vinylmation Urban Redux Unwrapping

When I first saw the new series of Vinylmations I knew I had to take my chances and hopefully get some of the best looking Mickey's I had seen in a while. For those of you not familiar Vinylmations are either 3" or 9" vinyl figures all shaped like Mickey Mouse but don't always look like the mouse we all know and love. They usually come in "blind boxes" so you never know what you are getting, which can be part of the fun or part of the disappointment. I ordered three boxes a few days ago. After tracking the shipment I awaited the brown truck to stop in front of my house today.
I always love getting Disney boxes usually they have Mickey on the outside of the box this time the characters were all inside. I wonder if this is new or so your neighbors don't get jealous. I was hoping for one of two characters out of the series. The Zombie Cowboy Singer or the Space Monkey Astronaut were the ones I wanted to see rise from the boxes. The Cowboy Singer is pretty regular there is usually one of him per tray. The astronaut however is considered a "chaser" and he is usually one per every three trays. In this series there are eight boxes per tray.

I open the first box and just like Christmas I try and feel around the foil wrapper to guess which one it is!
YES! Zombie Cowboy. We are off to a great start this figure comes with removable hat (with slits to fit the ears of course)
I open the second box already happy with the selection process at the Disney warehouse.
It is the Purple Monster Variant! This monster is definitely a Lakers fan (that's what I'm going with anyway). They grouped this variant in with the Red Ninja and the Super Chaser when calculating rarety. you will get one of those three in each tray so that makes this one fairly rare.
OK now come on Monkey!!!! here goes box number three
DOH! I got his brother the yellow monster. Not what I was hoping for but still cool nonetheless. He is also one per tray. Overall these new figures are awesome! I am just glad I didn't get two of the same one. I think I found my newest hobby to collect.
